A maritime authority informs of several cases of impersonating in a few cases of phishing asking for the transmission of ship official documents to an unauthorized party.

Recommendations to Ship to reduce Phishing risks:
Educate employees about recognizing phishing attempts and not clicking on suspicious links. Implement email filtering systems to detect and block phishing emails. Regularly update and patch software to address vulnerabilities that could be exploited by phishers. Work with your CSIRT organization to gather indicators to better detect and fight the threat. Monitor your messaging servers to detect and filter the threat.
